Lionel Messi’s Argentina wasted no time trolling rapper Drake after his $300,000 bet against them in the Copa America semifinal failed Tuesday night.
The Argentine national soccer team shared a team photo with the phrase "Not Like Us" on its social media after the game, which Argentina won 3-0 against Canada to reach the Copa America final.
The reference is from Kendrick Lamar’s hit summer record "Not Like Us" – which has seemingly ended the beef between Lamar and Drake earlier this summer.
Drake’s $300,000 bet on his home country would have netted him a win worth $2.88 million.
"This could get Messi," Drake wrote on his Instagram Stories before the game.
Instead, Drake is receiving some more viral blowback this summer thanks to Lamar’s song. If you missed the Drake-Kendrick Lamar battle, here's a full breakdown.
Argentina will face Uruguay or Colombia in the Copa America final on Sunday in Miami.
